Zenith Ornamental Insecticide Applications

Our new Zenith .5G program uses technological breakthroughs in insecticide applications to protect both your landscape and the environment. Furthur, this new product no longer has the odor associated with the meri we used in past years

A granular product is applied to the soil around your ornamental landscape plantings in early spring. After application you will water your landscape deeply to activate the product. That’s it! Your landscape is now protected against many area pests for up to two full seasons. Zenith should be re-applied every other year.

How does it work?
Zenith .5G is a systemic insecticide which penetrates the soil and is in turn absorbed by the root system of your plantings. The product is translocated throughout the plant material and is ingested by insect pests on their first bite. It’s that Simple! Zenith effectively controls the normal pests in our area including Aldegids, Aphids, Black vine weevil, Japanese beetle, Lace bugs, Leaf beetles, Leafhoppers, Psyllids and more. While not eliminating entire populations, Zenith will keep populations low and your plants healthy without dangerous chemical sprays.

Why is it better for the environment?

• Depending on plant species and site conditions a single treatment can last up to two years.
• There is no spray, therefore no chance for drift into other areas or contamination of ground water from spills.
• Being a systemic insecticide the product is stored in the plant, not in the soil or atmosphere.
• Applications are watered in, therefore no volitization (which pollutes the atmosphere) occurs.
