This charming home needed a masterful rework both inside & out. Respecting the historic architecture was a must as well as embracing the natural setting it was nestled within. Reusing as much of the existing plant material, clay pavers, and flagstone walls helped maintain the character of this home. This was not an easy task as some of the hardscape was deteriorating and plant material had been left to grow wild. Careful planning and sourcing of additional native plantings, local flagstone, and other materials helped create a good balance of new and old.
